If you then take sidestep afterwards, well, there are few things more infuriating than trying to deal with a bunch of blodgesteppers. Blodge is simply too good not to have when you’re only one skill away from having it, and the fact that you can field four blitzers with blodge after just one levelup each makes the overall team that much harder to deal with. This might look very similar to other teams blitzer builds, but that’s because, again, Dark Elves rely on strong fundamentals. No, no… I didn’t say that! Don’t send the Juice after me! Just don’t get caught saying that if you value your life.
#Blood bowl wrestle plus
The biggest weakness of the Dark Elf linemen are their price, 70k is pricey for a base player, but on the plus side any journeymen you get to fill out your roster due to deaths or injuries are free!Īlso, just a bit of trivia, but Dark Elf Linemen and High Elf Linemen are exactly alike in stats, cost, and skill access. Having wrestle alongside strip ball is also a fantastic way to threaten ball carriers, and can force your opponents to change how they play. The choice between block or wrestle is really up to taste, I tend to take a little of both, but I prefer wrestle as a way to counter opponent block skills. And block or wrestle is going to mean that your linemen can get in when needed and deal out some hits. Dodge as a first skill makes your team that much more mobile, and harder to knock down in an environment without a lot of tackle. Since Dark Elves rely on tight gameplay focused on the fundamentals, the fundamental skills are going to be your bread and butter. He may not be flashy, but he does form a good chunk of your team, and the fact that he’s still an AG4 elf means that he could be a star! If, however, you are looking at the skills I’ve suggested and thinking they look pretty bog standard, that’s because they are. You know what, doesn’t matter, I can cover this one all by myself, because we’re going to be talking about evil miscreants of a different kind, none other than the Dark Elves!Īs usual, I want to begin our look at the lowly lineman. I’m sorry, what? Not the Juice! I feel like I would have heard about that. Because I’ve also arranged to have present none other than NFL legend Orenthal J. That’s ok, I came prepared with a backup. That’s right, I’m going to be joined by none other than YouTube Gaming Legend ProJared! He. This time around I’m happy to announce that I am stepping my game up by bringing in a very special guest. If you’re unfamiliar with the series, there will be a list of all past articles at the end of this one, but don’t scroll down there just yet because we’re just getting started.
